Tour of the Mankowski Grounds and Several Residents’ Units

You may click on each of the “thumbnail” photos in the row along the bottom of this page to enlarge each picture.

The Mankowski grounds of nearly six acres are professionally maintained. Resident duplex cottages are sprinkled around the site. Residents walk our nearly a half-mile of sidewalks, which meander through the landscape and to the offices, mailboxes, and activity rooms of the “Manor House” (website home-page picture), to the laundry and project rooms, or to the carports. (More than half of our residents drive their own cars.)

A koi pond and water small cascade grace our grounds, which are full of lush green grass, both winter and summer flowers for every season from roses to rununculas fruit trees – orange, lemon, grapefruit, lime, avocado, apricot, peach, nectarine, fig, kumquat – palm trees, California live oaks, firs, spring vegetable garden with tomatoes, corn, squash and more

The cottages are furnished with a sofa and coffee table; an arm chair, table and lamp; a desk and lamp; a bed and headboard, bedside table and lamp; a small kitchen table and chairs; patio chair and chaise. You’ll see in the thumbnail pictures that some residents have substituted their own furniture for the Mankowski furniture, which is fine. But the units are small, and not much more than the furniture listed fits, whether it’s yours or Mankowski’s.
